About Preston
Preston Edwards is from Clemson, SC. As a high achiever from an early age, he became an Eagle Scout and was the captain of his high school tennis team for two years. While attending Clemson University, he was a member of the United States Army Reserves and graduated with a degree in Political Science.
From there, he graduated from Elon University School of Law. After starting his career as an executive at a multi-billion dollar commercial real estate company, he decided his passion was in the courtroom and in helping people. So, he left the corporate world and pursued a career as a trial attorney working primarily in criminal defense. He very quickly learned that being in the courtroom was his passion.
Since that transition in 2020, he has practiced criminal defense. From traffic tickets and DWIs to Felony Drug Trafficking and Assaults with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, Preston has seen it all. With significant trial experience, he defends his clients with award winning vigor. Preston has received Super Lawyers Rising award for two years in a row, Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch two years in a row, and been named to the National Association of Trial Lawyer’s 40 under 40. With significant experience, unmatched talent and award winning skills, Preston Edwards brings a unique set of skills and abilities to fight for his client’s rights in criminal defense, personal injury and veterans issues.
